Doom Slayer Chronicles is the most beautiful and technologically advanced mappack for Doom2 singleplayer. Doom Slayer Chronicles (DSC) compatible with all known gameplay mods for Doom2. The DSC takes advantage of the newest features of gzdoom, such as hardware shaders, full-screen post-processing, PBR textures (normals and specular maps, also often called "bump mapping"), high-resolution textures, and of course dynamic lighting.
This is standalone repacked version containing GZDoom 4.10.0. Read more...
it does not work, after passing the test in the window for obtaining the rank, it says click "i" and nothing happens. gzdoom v 4.10.0
Just click I button on your keyboard.
Oh, wait! Do you have something bound to your I key maybe? Try binding dscRankMenu on any key available or restore the binding with console command:
bind i dscRankMenu
Thank you very much, everything worked.
For some reason it won't work for me, every time I try to launch it via any of the .bat files it returns this error series:
Shader 'water' could not be compiled:
ERROR: 0:67: '' : array size must be a constant integer expression
ERROR: 0:67: '' : compilation terminated
ERROR: 2 compilation errors. No code generated.
I have absolutely no idea what's causing this or why.
I have the same problem. This happens when I use Vulkan. In OpenGL the game runs with some glitches and OpenGL-ES runs without the sky textures.
Yeah, it only runs in OpenGL-ES for me, it won't launch in OpenGL, either. For some reason it returns a "could not load shader "speed" kind of error with it. Weird.
error - not play game

For some reason, you have to play with heroic mode activated.
The button that asks you to skip the level-up presentation screen (I by default) doesn't work. As a result, once the first level has been reached, it's impossible to continue.
Nice mod, though.
